Just North of where I live in New York there is a region called "Seven Lakes Drive" that's because there are seven beautiful lakes along the drive. Stands to reason.

In the winter the lakes freeze and people go there to ice fish.

After the SuperBowl a few years ago. on a Sunday afternoon, there were a bunch of idlers in a bar in Suffern, New York with nothing to do except drink and talk about how they would have won big bucks if that asshole didn't miss that field goal and so forth.

One guy suggested they go Ice Fishing. They all agreed. They loaded up with cases of beer, sandwiches, a bottle of Blackberry Brandy, a pick, an auger, worms, rods and the lot. And off they went. To Lake Tarriacki.

They arrived at the lake in two trucks. They unloaded and started to dig. Lot of ice to get through. So they munched on sandwiches, popped beers and sipped brandy while one or two attacked the Ice.

Bye and Bye a park ranger pulled up and asked for permits. No problem. These guys were pros and had all the permits needed.

The Ranger was friendly and told them in a friendly manner that where they were parked was on the lake, and where they were digging was in the parking lot!

They packed up and went back to the bar. I was there. True story.
