~The Priest and the Rabbi~ (Plus: Today in history, Word for the day, Today’s horoscope, Maxine and 6 Diff’s)

   A Catholic Priest and a Jewish Rabbi had their church and synagogue across the street from one another.  They were best of friends and as such were constantly trying to out do each other in whatever venture they were involved with at the time, and their congregations knew it.

  One year, being very grateful for what the Priest had done for members of the congregation, everyone pitched in and bought him a brand new Cadillac.

  Well not to be outdone, the members of the Synagogue went out and bought their Rabbi a brand new Cadillac exactly like the Priest’s.

  Well one Saturday morning they were both out front washing their cars when the Priest got an idea.  He went into the Church, got the Holy water and came out and blessed his Cadillac.

  Not to outdone, the Rabbi went out in the garage, got a hacksaw, and cut the tailpipes off his.
